moving adventures

I have a new house and I LOVE IT!! It is close to perfect. But moving has not been close to perfect. We hired movers, Larry and I are not a good team when it comes to moving heavy objects, so this was a splurge but worth it for the mental health...until they arrive, their moving truck broke down...the show up in a car-truck, officially known as an El Camino.




GULP!

It was battered, paint falling off, incomplete old masking tape stating the Jesus is Lord on the bumper and it strained each time they started the engine. What a stressful day.

That evening all I want is a hot shower....the pilot light of the water heater went out....naked, wet and freezing cold.....I was not fun to be around that night, my poor husband :(
